Precie is medium size -
Blue Heeler, with gray,
blue and white speckles
throughout. She has a
black patch on her right
eye. She is very smart
and is very lovable to
people she knows. If you
treat her gently she will
listen and be very good,
other wise yelling or
screaming at her will
make her run away from
people. She will be
nippy when nervous, but
if she senses that you are
trying to help her - She
will be good and listen.
She reacts to sentences
such as "Precie, let's to
for ride, let's go home,
where's Mama? Where's
Tigger?" That should
spark her ears up.
Calming her down and
getting close enough to
pet her, gain her trust,
then gently place a
blanket over and picking
her up will help, leaving
her head uncovered
such that she can sense
what is happening- she
likes the sense of
security. This would be
far better than trying to
lasso her or pull on her.
She was wearing her
bright pink collar with
the words "Precie 505-
281-6760 (our home
home) on her collar and
her rabies tag. |

Started running away at
the Teklanika
Campgrouond in Denali
Park, Alaska. She was
seen about 1 1/4 miles
at the Teklanika Rest are
about 12:00 same day
and then seen again at
about 4:00 coming back
to the orginal
campground. People
reported that they heard
a dog barking along the
same route the next day
and say a black dog
cross the road (opposite
side of the campground).
Family searched for 6
days and did not see
her. Park officials and
bus drivers, staff, etc are
still looking and keeping
an eye out for her.
